The regional museum presents the Lavanttal valley in all its cultural and natural diversity – from fossils and minerals, mining, history and folklore to art and literature.
With spectacular photos and a wealth of information, the special exhibition “Vogelparadies Lavanttal” (Lavanttal Bird Paradise) presents the rich bird life of the region. Here, the natural and cultural history of species such as the heron, hoopoe, bee-eater and many others are brought to life!
There are frequent special events – check the museum’s website for details!
