The Lavanthaus Museum, near the old town of Wolfsberg, shows the Lavant Valley in all its diversity: 15 topics – from fossils and minerals to the city’s history, folklore, and literature – invite you to make surprising discoveries. There are teeth from sharks and dog bears as well as Roman arrowheads, film awards from Maximilian Schell, and the typewriter that used to belong to the Austrian writer Christine Lavant.
