Embedded in the fertile landscape of the lower Lavant Valley (Lavanttal), the Benedictine Abbey of St. Paul rises from a rock. One of the most important art collections in Austria gives the abbey the title of Treasury of Carinthia. The monastery museum houses, among other things magnificent treasures, paintings by old masters and manuscripts that are thousands of years old. From May 2024, the museum will host a special show entitled “NACKT. Zieht an.” (NAKED. Get dressed.)
