The Lavanthaus Museum
The regional museum shows the Lavanttal Valley in all its diversity: 15 different subject areas invite you to discover them – from fossils and minerals to the history of mining, literature, and folklore.
The special exhibition “Schicksalswende” (Reversal of Fate) tells the story of Camp 373, in which up to 7,000 leading functionaries of the NSDAP from Styria and Carinthia were interned after World War II.
Tips:
Multimedia and interactive stations provide additional information in a playful way, such as the Lavanttal dialect quiz, the “Lavant Explorer”, the digital flower book, and the cosy cinema.
