A new house for Carinthia, a Carinthian universal museum that is changing and presents the change itself as its new content. The transformation of living spaces, the archaeology of transformation, and the change in ideas provide the guidelines that the new kärnten.museum also takes up in the form of its content and mediation priorities: a house of encounters, education, conversation, and confrontation. The new museum café, the columned hall, inner courtyards, and the state library create an “open space” (admission free) – you only need your museum ticket for the exhibition areas on the 1^st and 2^nd floor.
