Ankogel High Mountain Cable Car
This is a wonderful hiking area to discover, whether you take the cable car to the mountain station at 2,636 m above sea level and then hike on one of the paths down to the valley, or make a stop at one of the typical cabins and enjoy the traditional Carinthian cuisine. Plus, you will also have the chance to enjoy a breath-taking view of the surrounding mountains.
Please keep in mind that there is a deposit for key cards: € 5.00 per ticket (in cash).
Tips: Picture‑perfect landscapes. Remember to bring sunscreen, mountain shoes, and warm clothes.

BY CAR: coming from Villach, take the motorway A10 towards Spittal/Drau, exit Lienz/Lendorf, then continue on the state road from Lendorf going through Möllbrücke, Mühldorf, Obervellach, and Mallnitz until you reach the valley station of the Ankogel mountain cable car.
