AGAINST THE CURRENT
More than 200 works by Werner Berg are juxtaposed with quotations from Pier Paolo Pasolini‘s writings and films. Their oeuvre bears witness to the disappearance of a native rural culture and world. They were thus prophets with regard to the dangers of consumerism and overproduction that threaten the entire world today. Alfred Hrdlicka‘s unsettling cycle on the life and murder of Pasolini complements the exhibition.
