
The museum presents precious historical objects and artworks of the region from the antiquity to the present time: archaeological findings, Roman inscriptions, sacral folklore, town views, portraits, medieval and baroque statues, rustic furniture, beehive front panels, traditional costumes, etc. Special emphasis is given to the detailed historical documentation of the events from the time of the Carinthian Plebiscite 1918—1920.

District relief, a show grave from the Hallstatt period, ornament stones from around year 800, Freyung market, Plebiscite frescoes by Prof. Hermann Heller, the copy of the peace bell from 1930, etc.
