This gorge is amazing: over a length of 2.5 km, you will hike over spectacular climbing facilities and bridges past rapids and waterfalls with a drop of up to 30 metres. Experience a “fountain of health” with tranquillity and vitality in the health and Schroth therapy resort of Obervellach in the midst of the High Tauern National Park (Nationalpark Hohe Tauern). Sensory experience: gorge for the entire family. Possibility to continue hiking to the “Almgasthof Himmelbauer” mountain cabin.
Tips:
Surefootedness and sturdy shoes are required. In case of bad weather, please inform yourself in advance whether the gorge is open. We also offer guided night walks.
