Gods, graves, and 3000 years of history. A path system leads through the open air grounds in the forest to the burial mounds still preserved today. The mighty grave of a high ranking woman, rebuilt as a show grave, allows deep insights into past death cults. The Keltenwelt (“Celtic world”) thematises lifestyle, cult, worldview, and trade relations of the Hallstatt period. Exhibitions with originals and replicas, as well as action days convey the history vividly and practically.
