
In the historic old town of Althofen, you will be amazed by the great view and a unique museum with original exhibits by the inventor and universal genius Dr. Carl Auer von Welsbach: gas incandescent light, metal filament incandescent lamp (OSRAM), lighterflints (TIAGfounder). He was the discoverer of four important chemical elements, a worldwide successful entrepreneur, and a noble benefactor. Awarded with the Austrian Museum Quality Seal.
