The Roman “Town on the Magdalensberg Mountain” ranks among the largest excavation sites of the eastern alps and has been archaeologically explored since 1948. The park comprises four hectares and shows considerable areas of the ancient settlement thanks to its ruins. Along your way across the historic area, you may encounter the “Youngling from the Magdalensberg Mountain” and many other findings that bear witness to a life on the Magdalensberg Mountain 2000 years ago.
