Mount Grossglockner Funicular

Experience the forces of nature! After a short ride with the funicular followed by a few-minutes hike you reach the Pasterze, the largest glacier of the Eastern Alps: 10 km of permanent ice at the feet of mount Grossglockner (3.798 m). A nature trail leads past brooks, crevasses and glacial mills. The ice once extended to the upper station, but has degenerated considerably over the past decades.
